Who I am.

I specialize in group facilitation and instructional design. I do consulting on leadership development, strategy, training, meeting design and facilitation in the business, government, non-profit and education sectors.

I grew up in the Midwest and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

How I Do It.

Brain Based: I incorporate the latest neuroscience research into meeting and learning designs

Liberating Structures: I often uses these structures and am guided by these principles

Design Thinking: The Stanford model of Design Thinking greatly influences my thinking. I can teach and apply these methods.

Adult Learning: I know and apply the core principles of adult  orientations towards learning and help to develop metacognitive  and growth mindset awareness in everybody I work with. 

Inquiry and Coaching: Using the power of a well-timed, open-ended question to help guide your thinking, I support your best thinking.

Kari is my thought partner, systems maker and goal setter. She not only keeps things running, she makes them soar.

Kari and I will occasionally co-facilitate and co-produce events. Kari teaches many of the Great Virtual Meetings trainings.
